Rx. Glehniae Bei Sha Shen 9-30g Tonifies Liver and Kidney Yin.
Rx. Ophiopogonis Mai Men Dong 6-15g Nourishes Stomach and Lung Yin and generates Fluids.
With Bei Sha She, for a dry cough with little Phlegm and a parched throat due to Lung Dryness or Heat injuring the Lung Yin and a dry throat, constipation, thirst and a red tongue with little coat due to pathogenic Warmth or Heat injuring the Stomach Yin or long-term Yin Deficiency.
Rx. Scrophulariae Xuan Shen 7-30g Clears Heat, cools the Blood and nourishes Yin.
Fr. Schisandrae Wu Wei Zi 6-9g Tonifies the Kidneys and astringes Jing.
Rz. Atractylodis Macrocephalae Bai Zhu 3-15g Tonifies the Spleen, augments Qi, dries Dampness, promotes water metabolism and calms the fetus.
