Gypsum Fibrosum Recens Sheng Shi Gao 20g Clears Heat, drains Fire, clears Excess Heat from the Lungs, clears Blazing Stomach Fire, nourishes Body Fluids and stops thirst.
With Zhi Mu, for high fever from Wind-Heat, Qi Stage Heat or Yang Ming Heat with irritability and extreme thirst.
Rz. Anemarrhenae Zhi Mu 10g Clears Heat, drains Fire, Nourishes Yin, moistens Dryness and generates fluids.
With Huang Bai, clears Heat and drains Fire.
Ram. Cinnamomi Gui Zhi 6g Releases External Wind-Cold from the muscle layer. harmonizes the Ying and Wei, warms the channels and collaterals to relieve pain, disperses Cold, unblocks Yang, transforms the Qi, warms and facilitates the flow of Yang Qi in the chest and warms and facilitates the flow of Blood through the vessels.
With Han Fang Ji, for Wind-Cold Damp Bi.
With Jiang Huang, for congealed painful obstruction in either the upper or lower limbs and shoulder disorders.
Caulis Lonicerae Ren Dong Teng 15g Clears Heat, relieves toxicity, expels Wind-Heat, clears Damp-Heat from the Lower Jiao, cools the Blood and invigorates the channels.
With Sang Zhi, for Heat in the joints.
Ram. Mori Sang Zhi 15g Dispels Wind-Damp Bi, especially in the upper extremities, unblocks the channels, benefits the joints and stops spasms.
Caulis Piperis Kadsurae Hai Feng Teng 12g Dispels Wind-Dampness, unblocks the channels, disperses Cold and stops pain.
With Gui Zhi, for pain, impaired joint movement and spasms of the sinews due to Wind-Damp Bi.
Fr. Forsythiae Lian Qiao 12g Clears Heat, especially from the Upper Jiao, relieves toxicity, expels External Wind-Heat and clears Blood Heat.
