GU SYNDROME

General	Gu Syndrome describes a state of chronic infection by fungi, bacteria, or viruses. It is a complex of systemic infection involving a host with a weakened constitution. Treatment is lengthy. It is quite complicated with most patients presenting with a triad of pathological syndromes including: Liver Qi Stagnation, Spleen and Stomach Qi Deficiency and Damp-Heat. It also may include Food Stagnation, Blood and Yin Deficiency, Shen disturbance and Phlegm.
