POINT: UB-38 (URINARY BLADDER-38)

Also Known As: Floating Xi
  • On the back of the knee, 1 cun superior to UB-39 Weiyang, on the medial side of the tendon of the biceps femoris. Note: locate with the knee slightly flexed.
  • Perpendicular insertion, 1 to 1.5 cun.
  • Straight insertion 1 to 2 cun.
  • Puncture perpendicularly 0.5 to 1 cun.
  • Moxibustion is applicable.
  • Relaxes the sinews
