- On the palmar surface, in the midpoint of the transverse creases of the proximal interphalangeal joints of the index, middle ring and little fingers.
- On the palmar surface, in the transverse creases
of the proximal interphalangeal joints of the four fingers (excluding
the thumb).
Note: In most people, two creases will be found at the proximal interphalangeal joints. Sifeng M-UE-9 is located on the crease which is most prominent on flexion.
- Prick to bleed or squeeze out a small amount of yellowish viscous fluid.
- Needle and then squeeze out a small amount of yellowish viscous fluid (effective even if no fluid comes out).
