POINT: REN-1 (CONCEPTION VESSEL-1)

NAME: HUIYIN

English: Meeting of Yin
Also Known As: Perineum

LOCATION:

  • At the perineum, midway between the anus and the scrotum in men, and the anus and the posterior labial commisure in women.

NEEDLING:

  • Perpendicular insertion 0.5 to 1.2 cun.
  • Puncture perpendicularly 0.5 to 1 cun.
  • Moxibustion is applicable.
  • Straight insertion 1 to 1.5 cun.

COMMAND FUNCTIONS:

  • Meeting point with the Chong and DU channels
  • Beginning point of the Ren, Chong and DU channels
  • Sun Si-miao Ghost Point
