  1. For external use, take the required amount.
  2. The powder may be combined with other substances to make plasters.
  3. The plasters may also be made by crushing the fresh herb. 
  4. This herb has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells.
  5. This herb is typically applied to pyogenic infections.
  6. This herb clears the Lungs, cools the Blood, clears Heat and detoxifies.
  7. It is said to clear pathogenic Wind, reduce Heat, cool the Blood and relieve swelling.
  8. It cures all sizes of carbuncles, cellulitis, pyogenic infections and malignant boils.
  9. Decocted in good wine, this herb cures mastitis completely.
  10. For consumptive diseases and coughing, stew together 60-120g Fol. Hibisci Fu Rong Ye, 30g Hb. Pyrolae Lu Xian Cao and 30g Yellow sugar with a pig's heart and lung and a little salt.
