  1. It Inflames digestive tract.
  2. Do not inject intramuscularly, it is painful and leads to necrosis.
  3. Oral administration may cause vomiting - prevented by small doses in increments.
  4. Intravenous or subcutaneous injection may cause hemolytic anemia, hematuria, and proteinuria.
  5. Other side effects are dizziness, headache, chest pain, fever, weakness, insomnia, and loss of appetite.
  6. Defatted Hydnocarpus Da Feng Zi Shuang is less toxic and easier to use internally.
