With Zi Su Ye, Zhi Ban Xia and Fu Ling, for Dry cough due to Wind-Cold Attacks the Lungs.
Fol. Perillae Zi Su Ye 3-9g Releases the exterior, disperses Cold and improves the Lung function.
With Jie Geng, Xing Ren and Qian Hu, for common colds with productive cough and congested nasal passages.
With Jie Geng and Zhi Ke, eases the diaphragm and Intestines.
Rx. Peucedani Qian Hu 6-9g Descends Qi, disperses Wind-Heat and expels Phlegm.
Rx. Platycodi Jie Geng 1-10g Disperses the Lungs, stops cough, resolves Phlegm, descends Qi and directs the actions of the formula to the upper body.
With Zi Su Ye and Xing Ren, for productive cough with clear, frothy sputum due to Wind-Cold Attacks the Lungs.
With Gan Cao, disseminates Lung Qi, expels Phlegm, resolves toxicity, and expels pus for productive cough with hoarseness, pain and swelling of the throat due to Wind-Heat.
With Zi Su Ye, Xing Ren and Chen Pi, for productive cough with clear, bubbly sputum, nasal congestion, chills and headache due to Wind-Cold Invading the Lungs.
With Zhi Ban Xia, for cough due to Wind-Cold Invasion or long-standing Phlegm-Dampness.
