Fr. Trichosanthis Gua Lou 20-30g Clears Lung Heat, transforms Hot Phlegm, regulates Qi (unbinds the chest), reduces abscesses, dissipates nodules and eliminates pus.
With Huang Lian and Jiang Ban Xia, for Phlegm-Heat accumulating in the chest and epigastrium that is painful when pressed with coughing of thick, yellow sputum (Xiong Bi due to Phlegm and Heat Accumulation Beneath the Heart).
Rz. Coptidis Huang Lian 3-6g Clears Heat, drains Dampness, drains Fire and resolves Fire toxicity.
Ginger-fried Rz. Pinelliae Preparatum Jiang Ban Xia 9-12g Dries Dampness, transforms Phlegm, descends Qi and alleviates nausea.
