With Huang Qin, for suppurating boils that have not ulcerated, or have ulcerated but are not discharging pus.
Rz. Smilacis Glabrae Tu Fu Ling 21g Relieves toxicity, eliminates Dampness, benefits joints, and clears Damp-Heat from the skin.
Parched Flos Sophorae Chao Huai Hua Mi 11g Stops bleeding and cools the Blood.
Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang 15g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, nourishes Yin and generates fluids.
Rx. Paeoniae Rubra Chi Shao 21g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, activates Blood and dispels Blood Stasis.
Rx. Arnebiae/Lithospermi Zi Cao 9g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, relieves Fire toxins, encourages rashes and clears Damp-Heat from the skin.
Rx. Bupleuri Chai Hu 9g Resolves Shao Yang disorders, reduces fever, spreads Liver Qi, relieves Stagnation and raises Yang Qi.
With Huang Qin, for Heat in the Shao Yang.
