Rx. et Rz. Notopterygii Qiang Huo 2-10g Releases the Exterior, disperses Cold, expels Wind-Damp from the upper Tai Yang, unblocks Painful Obstruction, alleviates pain and guides Qi to the Tai Yang and DU channels.
With Du Huo, for systemic Wind-Dampness.
With Chuan Xiong, for headache and generalized body aches and pains associated with the common cold or painful obstruction.
With Fang Feng, for pain due to External Wind-Dampness.
With Fang Feng, Gao Ben and Chuan Xiong, for Wind-Damp headache.
Rx. Saposhnikoviae Fang Feng 1.5-6g Releases the exterior, expels Wind-Cold-Dampness, stops pain, expels Internal Wind, stops spasms, Moves Qi, tonifies the Spleen and treats gout.
Rz. Atractylodis Cang Zhu 10g Strongly dries Dampness, tonifies the Spleen, expels Wind-Dampness, clears Dampness from the Lower Jiao and releases the Exterior.
With Huang Bai, for pain, swelling and weakness of the lower extremities or skin lesions due to Wind-Dampness.
Cx. Phellodendri Huang Bai 10g Drains Damp-Heat especially from the Lower Jiao and relieves toxicity.
Polyporus Zhu Ling 10g Promotes urination, leaches out Dampness and dispels Heat.
With Ze Xie, drains Damp, unblocks and drains urinary pathways and drains Heat from the Urinary Bladder.
Rz. Alismatis Ze Xie 10g Promotes urination, resolves Dampness and clears Damp-Heat.
