Cx. Mori Sang Bai Pi 10g Stops cough and wheezing and drains Heat from the Lungs.
With Huang Qin, drains Heat from the Lungs, and stops cough and wheezing.
With Ting Li Zi, for wheezing from water and thin mucus retained in the Lungs.
Rx. Scutellariae Huang Qin 10g Clears Lung Heat, dries Dampness, drains Fire and detoxifies.
With Huang Lian, drains pathogenic Heat from the Upper and Middle Jiaos for high fever, redness, swelling and pain of the head and face, dry mouth, parched throat, ulcerations of the mouth and tongue, epistaxis, rashes and irritability in warm-febrile disease.
With Huang Lian and Zhi Zi, for acute febrile disease.
With Zhi Zi, powerfully clears and drains lurking Heat from the Lungs with fever, fullness in the chest, cough with yellow sputum and epistaxis or hematemesis.
Rz. Coptidis Huang Lian 2g Clears Heat, drains Dampness, drains Fire and relieves toxicity.
With Huang Qin and Zhi Zi, for high fever, irritability, dry mouth and throat, and dark urine due to Fire toxin in the three burners
Dry-Fried Fr. Gardeniae Chao Zhi Zi 10g Clears Heat, reduces Fire, eliminates irritability, drains Damp-Heat, cools the Blood and relieves toxicity.
Fr. Perillae Zi Su Zi 10g Stops cough and wheezing, descends Qi, dissolves Phlegm and moistens the Intestines.
With Ting Li Zi, for accumulation of Phlegm and thin mucus leading to Lung Qi Stagnation and blockage with cough and wheezing which is worse when lying down, edema of the tissues of the face and head, stifling fullness and discomfort in the chest and reduction in the flow of urine.
With Xing Ren, for cough and wheezing with constipation.
Sm. Armeniacae Xing Ren 6-9g Regulates Lung Qi, stops cough and wheezing, moistens the Intestines and unblocks bowels.
With Chuan Bei Mu, for wheezing and cough from externally contracted Lung disorders, non-productive cough from Lung Deficiency disorders and coughing of thick, yellow sputum due to Phlegm-Fire.
Bul. Fritillariae Cirrhosae Chuan Bei Mu 5g Clears Heat, transforms Phlegm, stops cough and nourishes and moistens the Lungs.
With Huang Lian and Huang Qin, directs Phlegm-Fire downward.
Sm. Lepidii/Descurainiae Ting Li Zi 10g Drains the Lungs, reduces Phlegm and calms wheezing.
Rx. Stemonae Bai Bu 10g Stops cough and moistens the Lungs.
With Chuan Bei Mu, for cough and chest pain due to Phlegm Heat.
