Rx. Rehmanniae Preparata Shu Di Huang 12-15g Nourishes Yin, Jing and Blood.
With Bai Shao and Dang Gui, for Blood Deficiency.
With Dang Gui, for Blood Deficiency marked by dizziness, palpitations, insomnia and menstrual dysfunction.
Rx. Paeoniae Alba Bai Shao 12-15g Calms Liver Yang, nourishes the Blood, astringes Yin and alleviates pain.
With Dang Gui, tonifies Yin and Blood.
With Dang Gui and Shu Di Huang, for Blood Deficiency or Blood Stasis.
With Gan Cao, for muscle spasms in the calf due to Blood Deficiency.
Rx. Bupleuri Chai Hu 10-12g Resolves the Shao Yang, disperses Wind-Heat, reduces fever, spreads Liver Qi, relieves Stagnation, raises Yang and resolves Phlegm.
With Huang Qin, restores the normal functioning of Liver and Gallbladder and releases Shao Yang Heat.
With Bai Shao, for Liver Qi Stagnation.
With Bai Shao, Dang Gui and Chuan Xiong, harmonizes the Blood.
Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 10-12g Tonifies, activates and harmonizes Blood, disperses Cold, reduces swelling and alleviates pain.
With Bai Shao, regulates and harmonizes Blood.
With Gan Cao, moderates spasms.
With Huang Qi, for Blood Deficiency.
With Shu Di Huang and Chuan Xiong, for Blood Deficiency or Blood Stasis.

Rx. Scutellariae Huang Qin 10-12g Calms Liver Yang, drains Fire, and dries Dampness.
Rx. Chuanxiong Chuan Xiong 10-12g Activates Blood, regulates Qi, Expels Wind-Cold and alleviates pain.
With Chai Hu and Chi Shao, for Liver Qi and Blood Stagnation.

Rx. Pinelliae Preparatum Zhi Ban Xia 10-12g Dries Dampness, transforms Phlegm, descends Rebellious Qi and harmonizes the Stomach.
