Calculus Bovis Niu Huang 4.5g Eliminates Phlegm-Heat and relieves Fire toxicity.
With Zhen Zhu, clears Heat and transforms Phlegm for mouth sores and painful, ulcerated, swollen throat due to Heat.
With Chan Su and Xiong Huang, eliminates toxins and disperses accumulations.
With Bing Pian and Zhen Zhu, for sore, swollen throat and ulcers on the tongue or throat.
Margarita Zhen Zhu 4.5 Clears Heat, eliminates toxins, and benefits Yin.
With Niu Huang and Bing Pian, for severe, chronic, non-healing ulcers anywhere on the body and topically for red eyes or superficial visual obstruction and severe pain, swelling and ulceration of the throat.
With Niu Huang, for delirium, high fever and convulsions and topically for sores due to Heat toxin, throat Bi or periodontal disorders.
Venomum Bufonis Chan Su 3g Reduces swelling and alleviates pain.
With Xiong Huang, She Xiang and Zhen Zhu, for severe non-ulcerated sores and abscesses, especially of the mouth, gums and throat.
With Niu Huang, for Phlegm and turbid filth veiling the Orifices, delirium, high fever and convulsions and topically for sores due to Heat toxin, throat Bi or periodontal disorders.
With Niu Huang, Xiong Huang, Bing Pian and She Xiang, for extreme soreness and pain in the throat, scarlet fever and tonsillitis.
Realgar Xiong Huang 3g Relieves toxicity and disperses Stagnation, dries Dampness and expels Phlegm.
Borneolum Bing Pian 3g Aromatically opens orifices, revives the Spirit, clears Heat, alleviates pain and dissipates nodules.
With She Xiang, penetrates tissues to strengthen the effectiveness of the other herbs and treats convulsions, loss of consciousness, and coma due to extreme Heat or Phlegm Blocking the Orifices.
With Niu Huang and Zhen Zhu, for ulceration with pain and swelling of the skin, ears or nose.
Moschus She Xiang 4.5g Strongly opens orifices and Luo vessels, revives Spirit, unblocks closed disorders, activates Blood, dissipates masses, reduces swellings (detoxifies) and alleviates pain.
With Niu Huang, for coma due to Heat and sore throat
With Niu Huang and Bing Pian, for closed disorders from Phlegm-Heat or Heat Sinking into the Pericardium.
With Zhen Zhu, Niu Huang. and Xiong Huang, for severe hot sores and ulcerations, especially of the throat.

  • Contraindicated during pregnancy.
  • Do not take in large doses or for a prolonged period.
  • Use with caution for those with underlying weakness and Deficiency.
