Rx. Astragali Huang Qi 9-30g Tonifies Qi and Blood, strengthens the Spleen and raises the Yang Qi of the Spleen and Stomach.
With Dang Shen, for Qi Deficiency with general debility, anorexia, fatigue, tired extremities and spontaneous sweat.
With Bai Zhu, for Spleen Qi Deficiency with weakness, lassitude and loose stools.
Rx. Codonopsis Dang Shen 6-14g Tonifies the Middle Jiao, augments Qi and nourishes the Blood.
With Bai Zhu, for Spleen Qi Deficiency with anorexia, loose stools and vomiting.
Rz. Dioscoreae Shan Yao 9-30g Tonifies the Spleen, nourishes Stomach Yin, tonifies Kidney Yin and astringes Jing.
With Dang Shen, for Spleen and Kidney Deficiencies with fatigue, weakness, anorexia, and watery stools.
Rz. Atractylodis Macrocephalae Bai Zhu 3-15g Tonifies the Spleen and augments Qi.
Hb. Epimedii Yin Yang Huo 3-15g Tonifies the Kidneys and strengthens Yang.
Sm. Cuscutae Tu Si Zi 6-18g Strengthens Yang, nourishes Yin, astringes Jing and urine, benefits the marrow, tonifies the Kidneys and Liver and benefits the Spleen.
Fr. Lycii Gou Qi Zi 5-18g Nourishes and tonifies Liver and Kidney Blood and Yin.
Rx. Ophiopogonis Mai Men Dong 6-15g Moistens the Lungs, nourishes Yin, nourishes Stomach Yin, generates fluids, clears the Heart and eliminates irritability.
Fr. Ligustri Lucidi Nu Zhen Zi 4.5-18g Nourishes and tonifies Liver and Kidney Yin and clears Deficiency Heat.
Rx. Paeoniae Rubra Chi Shao 4.5-15g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, relieves pain, clears Heat and cools the Blood.
With Tao Ren, for Blood Stasis.
Sm. Persicae Tao Ren 4-10g Breaks up Blood Stasis and invigorates Blood circulation.
With Hong Hua, invigorates the Blood for all types of Blood Stagnation such as dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea with abdominal pain, clotting and scanty flow, swollen painful sores and chest pain due to Blood Stasis.
Flos Carthami Hong Hua 3-10g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, opens the channels and alleviates pain.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 1.5-14g Tonifies the Spleen and augments Qi and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
With Dang Shen, for anorexia, fatigue and loose stools due to Spleen Deficiency.
Hirudo Shui Zhi 1-6g Breaks up and drives out Blood Stasis.
