Rx. Astragali Huang Qi 9-30g Strengthens the Spleen, tonifies Qi, promotes the discharge of pus, generates flesh, expels toxins and generates Body Fluids.
With Mai Men Dong and Wu Wei Zi, for nightsweats.
Rx. Codonopsis Dang Shen 9-30g Tonifies Middle Jiao, tonifies Qi and generates Body Fluids.
With Huang Qi, for Lung and Spleen Qi Deficiencies with fatigue, shortness of breath, diarrhea and anorexia.
With Wu Wei Zi and Mai Men Dong, for injury to Qi and fluids with shortness of breath and thirst.
Tub. Ophiopogonis Mai Men Dong 6-15g Clears the Heart, eliminates irritability, moistens the Lungs nourishes Stomach Yin, generates fluids, moistens the Intestines and resolves Phlegm.
With Xuan Shen and Sheng Di Huang, for thirst, constipation, irritability and low-grade fever due to Stomach Yin.
With Sheng Di Huang, for Hematemesis or epistaxis due to Yin Deficiency with Excess Heat.
Rx. Paeoniae Alba Bai Shao 6-30g Nourishes Blood and astringes Yin.
Spica Prunellae Xia Ku Cao 6-18g Clears the Liver, clears Heat and dissipates nodules.
With Xiang Fu, for eye pain with excessive tearing.
Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang 5-30g Clears Heat, nourishes Yin and Generates fluids.
With Bai Shao, for Blood Deficiency Heat.
Rx. Salviae Miltiorrhizae Dan Shen 3-15g Activates Blood, breaks up Blood Stasis, clears Heat and cools and nourishes the Blood.
Concha Ostreae Mu Li 15-30g Benefits Yin, anchors Floating Yang, prevents leakage of fluids, softens hardness and dissipates nodules.
Fr. Perillae Zi Su Zi 4.5-9g Dissolves Phlegm and moistens the Intestines.
Fr. Schisandrae Wu Wei Zi 1.5-9g Contains leakage of Lung Qi tonifies Qi, nourishes Kidney Yin, astringes sweat and generates fluids.
With Mu Li, for sweating.
