Rx. Rehmanniae Preparata Shu Di Huang 6-18g Nourishes the Blood, nourishes Liver and Kidney Yin, strongly enriches Yin and relieves wasting and thirsting disorder, nourishes Jing and Blood and fills the Marrow.
With Zhi Fu Zi and Rou Gui, for Kidney Yang Deficiency.
With Shan Zhu Yu, nourishes Kidney Yin and secures Jing, while restraining urination and sweating.
Fr. Corni Shan Zhu Yu 9-15g Stabilizes the Kidneys, astringes Jing and Body Fluids, tonifies Liver and Kidney Yin and strengthens Kidney Yang.
With Wu Wei Zi, for spermatorrhea, abnormal sweating, palpitations and shortness of breath due to Yin and Yang Deficiency of the Liver and Kidneys.
Liquor-soaked and Stone- baked Hb. Cistanches Jiu Bei Rou Cong Rong 9-18g Tonifies the Kidneys, strengthens the Yang and benefits Jing.
With Ba Ji Tian, tonifies Yang without injuring Yin.
Hb. Morindae Officinalis Ba Ji Tian 6-15g Tonifies the Kidneys, strengthens Yang, disperses Wind-Cold-Damp and strengthens the sinews and bones.
Rx. Aconiti Lateralis Preparata Zhi Fu Zi 3-15g Warms Ming Men Fire and assists Heart, Kidney and Spleen Yang.
With Rou Gui, for Powerfully tonifies Kidney Yang, for Kidney Yang Deficiency with lower back pain and weakness in the legs and knees.
With Fu Ling, for lower body edema and dysuria.
Cx. Cinnamomi Rou Gui 1-15g Warms the Kidneys, Spleen and Heart, strengthens the Yang and Ming Men Fire, d disperses deep Cold, warms and unblocks the channels and vessels and alleviates pain.
With Shu Di Huang, Shan Zhu Yu and Zhi Fu Zi, for Kidney Yang Deficiency.
Rx. Ophiopogonis Mai Men Dong 6-15g Nourishes Lung and Stomach Yin and generates fluids.
Hb. Dendrobii Shi Hu 6-15g Enriches Kidney Yin, reduces Heat from Deficiency, tonifies the Kidneys, augments Jing, strengthens the tendons and bones, strengthens the low back and nourishes Stomach and Lung Yin.
Fr. Schisandrae Wu Wei Zi 3-15g Tonifies the Kidneys, tonifies Qi, astringes Jing, stops diarrhea and spermatorrhea, quiets the Spirit and calms and contains Heart Qi.
Rz. Acori Tatarinowii Shi Chang Pu 6-15g Opens the Orifices, vaporizes Phlegm, removes filth, calms the Spirit,disperses Wind transforms turbid Dampness, harmonizes the Middle Jiao, awakens the Spleen and promotes the movement of Qi.
With Yuan Zhi and Fu Ling, for forgetfulness, tinnitus, and impaired hearing.
(Rz. Anemone Altaicae) (Jiu Jie Chang Pu) (3-6g) (Transforms Phlegm, opens the orifices, calms the Shen, awakens the Spleen and resolves toxicity.)(Some sources substitute this herb for Shi Chang Pu.)
Rx. Polygalae Yuan Zhi 3-15g Calms the Spirit, sedates the Heart,clears the channel joining the Heart and Kidneys, expels Phlegm and opens the Orifices.
Poria Fu Ling 6-15g Promotes urination, leaches out Dampness, strengthens the Spleen, harmonizes the Middle Jiao, strengthens the Spleen and transforms Phlegm.
With Zhi Fu Zi and Sheng Jiang, for edema due to Spleen and Kidney Yang Deficiency.
Hb, Menthae Haplocalycis Bo He 2-6g Expels turbid filth.
Rz. Zingiberis Recens Sheng Jiang 3-6g Warms the Middle, warms the Lungs and reduces the toxicity of other herbs.
With Da Zao, prevents Phlegm accumulation and protects the Stomach Qi and reduces irritation of the gastrointestinal tract by other herbs.
Fr. Jujube Da Zao 3-6g Moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
