Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 3-15g Tonifies, invigorates and harmonizes the Blood.
Rx. Salviae Miltiorrhizae Dan Shen 3-15g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, nourishes the Blood and calms the Spirit.
Myrrh Mo Yao 3-12g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis and alleviates pain.
Sm. Persicae Tao Ren 4-10g Breaks up Blood Stasis and invigorates Blood circulation.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 1.5-14g Tonifies the Spleen and augments Qi and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.

  • Palpitations
  • Stabbing pain in the anterior region over heart
  • Suffocating sensation in chest
  • Maybe drawing pain down internal aspect of arm (especially left arm)
  • Pain (in chest and/or arm) tends to be severe and intermittent
  • In severe cases:
    Cold limbs
    Cyanosis of lips and nails
  • T: Dark red with purple spots or Purple body
  • C: Little
  • P: Minute (scarcely perceptible) and thready or Knotted
