Rx. Angelica Sinensis Dang Gui 1-12g Tonifies Blood, regulates menstruation, invigorates and harmonizes Blood and disperses Cold
With Bai Shao, regulates and harmonizes Qi and Blood.
With Bai Shao, Gui Zhi and Xi Xin, for Blood and Yang Deficiencies with cold extremities, back and/or buttocks.
With Dang Gui, promotes circulation of Blood and stops pain.
With Zhi Gan Cao, moderates spasms and relieves abdominal pain.
Rx. Paeoniae Alba Bai Shao 3-15g Nourishes Blood, regulates menstruation and adjusts the Ying and Wei.
With Zhi Gan Cao, regulates the relationship between the Liver and Spleen and nourishes the sinews, treats abdominal pain due to disharmony between the Liver and Stomach, epigastric, hypochondriac or flank pain and muscle spasms, pain and numbness, especially in the calf, due to Blood Deficiency.
With Gui Zhi, harmonizes Ying and Wei in Tai Yang Zhong Feng.
With Dang Gui, nourishes Yin and Blood.
With Dang Gui, Sheng Jiang and Da Zao, for Wind-Cold with Deficiency and perspiration.
Ram. Cinnamomi Gui Zhi 3-12g Releases the exterior, adjusts the Ying and Wei, warms the channels and collaterals to relieve pain, disperses Cold, unblocks Yang and transforms the Qi, warms and facilitates the flow of Yang Qi in the chest and warms and facilitates the flow of Blood through the vessels.
With Bai Shao, warms and tonifies the Middle Jiao.
With zhi Gan Cao, for palpitations and shortness of breath due to injured Yang of the chest.
Hb. Asari Xi Xin 1.5-9g Releases Exterior Wind and Cold, disperses Internal Cold, warms the Lungs and alleviates pain.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Preparata Zhi Gan Cao 2-6g Alleviates pain and moderates and harmonizes the properties of other herbs.
Fr. Jujube Da Zao 3-9g Nourishes Blood and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
Caul. Akebiae Mu Tong 3-9g Promotes urination and unblocks blood vessels.

  • Contraindicated for those with Yin Deficiency with Empty Fire.
