Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 3.5-15g Tonifies the Blood, regulates menses and invigorates and harmonizes the Blood.
Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang 3.5-20g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, nourishes the Yin and generates fluids
 With Shu Di Huang, for Heat symptoms due to Yin Deficiency and Devastated Blood.
Rx. Rehmanniae Preparata Shu Di Huang 3.5-20g Tonifies the Blood and Yin.
Rz. Coptidis Huang Lian 3-15g Clears Heat, drains Dampness, drains Fire and relieves toxicity.
Rx. Scutellariae Huang Qin 3.5-15g Clears Lung Heat, dries Dampness drains Fire, detoxifies and calms ascending Liver Yang.
With Huang Lian, for high fever and irritability in warm-febrile disease.
Cx. Phellodendri Huang Bai 3.5-15g Drains Damp-Heat, drains Kidney Fire and relieves toxicity.
Rx. Astragali Huang Qi 7-30g Strengthens the Spleen, tonifies Qi, generates Body Fluids, raises the Yang Qi of the Spleen and Stomach, nourishes Blood, promotes urination, reduces edema and expels toxins.
With Dang Gui, for Qi and Blood Deficiency.
With Huang Bai and Sheng Di Huang, for Yin Deficiency with night sweats.
